When I'm dancing Hula, I don't feel I'm just dancing. It is a way of life to which many teachers and students dedicate their lives to. Most of the hula schools are strict, they have Kapu or rules that varied through the different schools. But certain codes of conduct are usual.

How I said Hula is not just dancing, it is the study of the Hawaiian Culture, Language, History, Legends, and Traditions. The movements performed are just the surface. Hula is a tight and cultural system that celebrates creation and procreation, mythological and legendary exploits, historical events and places, love relations, and natural life. It's being liable but doing what I most like.
